Welcome to fitness.com.cy. These terms govern your use of the fitness.com.cy website and services (the "Platform"). By creating an account or using the Platform you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.

What the Platform is

fitness.com.cy is a discovery platform that connects people in Cyprus with fitness providers: trainers, gyms, sports clubs, teams, nutritionists, rehabilitation specialists and supplement stores. We publish provider profiles and let you contact providers directly. We are not a party to any agreement between you and a provider. We do not provide fitness, nutrition, medical or rehabilitation services ourselves, we do not employ the providers listed, and we do not handle bookings or payments between you and a provider. Any sessions, memberships, purchases or advice you arrange with a provider are strictly between you and them.

Your account

You need an account for some features (saving favourites, messaging providers, listing your business). You must be at least 16 years old to create an account, give accurate information and keep your login details safe. You are responsible for what happens under your account. You can delete your account at any time from your account settings; deletion permanently erases your profile data as described in the Privacy Policy.

Provider listings

Providers create and own their listings. They are responsible for the accuracy of everything they publish: descriptions, qualifications, certifications, prices, photos, opening hours and contact details. We review listings before they go live and may reject, unpublish or remove any listing, but we cannot guarantee that listing information is accurate, complete or up to date. Verify important details (such as qualifications, prices and insurance) directly with the provider before relying on them.

Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Platform. Among other things, you must not: post false, misleading or unlawful content; impersonate any person or business; harass or abuse other users through messaging; collect data with automated tools; attempt to bypass security or rate limits; or use the Platform for unsolicited advertising. We may suspend or ban accounts that break these rules, and remove content, at our discretion.

Content and intellectual property

The Platform, its name, design and software belong to us. Content you upload (photos, descriptions, messages) remains yours; by uploading it you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host and display it on the Platform for as long as it is published there. You must hold the rights to anything you upload.

Disclaimers and liability

The Platform is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. Exercise and physical training carry inherent risks; consult a doctor before starting a programme and choose providers carefully. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for: the acts, omissions, services or advice of providers; injuries or damages arising from services you arrange with a provider; the accuracy of listing content; or interruptions and data loss. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

Suspension and termination

You may stop using the Platform and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or the law, or that put other users at risk. For serious violations (for example illegal content or abusive behaviour) we may ban the account and block re-registration.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the Platform evolves. The current version, with its date, is always published on this page. If a change is significant we will make it visible on the Platform. Continuing to use the Platform after a change takes effect means you accept the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Cyprus, and the courts of Cyprus have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute relating to them or to the Platform.
